Climb Mount Kilimanjaro

Kilimanjaro is Africa's highest peak at 5895m (19340 feet). Although almost on the equator, the peak is permanently covered with snow & massive ice fields. One of the great atractions is that it can be climbed by any reasonably fit person who enjoys hiking. We use the most beautiful of the climbing routes .. Machame. Although slightly more challenging than some of the other routes, it rewards the hiker with some stunning viewpoints. Accommodation is in comfortable tents erected by porters, who also carry all necessary equipment. The hike takes 8 days, with the trek to the summit taking place in the early hours of day 6.
