Many African destinations compete for wildlife tourists. It is indisputable that the great grasland plains of the Serengeti & Masaai Mara from the backdrop to the annual migration, probably the greatest game spectacle on earth. More than a million wildebeest plus hosts of other graxers, move from the dry Serengeti plains of Tanzania & congregate in the Kenyan Mara, to await the rains further south. Predators, including huge crocodiles, literally go on a feeding frenzy as the trapped wildebeest cross the raging rivers. Hot-air ballooning over the game reserves started in the Mara & is very popular at certain lodges.

This overland safari operates daily from Nairobi & is often done as an add-on to Kenya. Inludes all transport from Nairobi ; all meals & safari activties.

Climb Mount Kilimanjaro
Kilimanjaro is Africa's highest peak at 5895m (19340 feet). Although almost on the equator, the peak is permanently covered with snow & massive ice fields. One of the great atractions is that it can be climbed by any reasonably fit person who enjoys hiking. We use the most beautiful of the climbing routes .. Machame. Although slightly more challenging than some of the other routes, it rewards the hiker with some stunning viewpoints. Accommodation is in comfortable tents erected by porters, who also carry all necessary equipment. The hike takes 8 days, with the trek to the summit taking place in the early hours of day 6.
