Camps on the edge of the delta usually have very good wildlife & offer game drives, etc. with water activities only when the floodwaters arrive. There are a few camps on the edge of the permanent waters which offer both water & land activities throughout the year.

The closest international airport is Maun. The area is also accessible from Kasane airport near Chobe. There are no roads linking islands & camps within the Delta, & transport is by chartered light aircraft. There is a baggage restriction of 15kg per person, which must be in soft bags.
