African Pride Tours was founded in 1990 by Trevor Hewett, an experienced operator who has been involved in tourism since the 1970's & saw a niche for a company able to provide a high level of personal service in an industry where biggest is not always best. Our dedicated staff's experience, imagination & commitment to excellence place us in a unique position to plan an itinerary for even the most demanding clients.

Staff

Our head office is in Cape Town & all tours are planned & designed by experienced tour consultants who have ready access to one of the directors when necessary. The secret of a successful tour lies in the ability of the guide to "read" the clients - for this reason we appoint only registered guides who share our enthusiasm & commitment. These multi-language guides are ourfront-line staff & the ambassadors for Africa.

Accommodation and Transport

Our unrivalled product knowledge enables us to advise the most suitable accommodation based on the needs & budgets of our clients. Contracted rates with all the leading properties enable us to offer the finest accommodation at very competitive prices. Transport is provided in air-conditioned registered tour vehicles - either owned by our company or chartered from leading coach charter suppliers. All vehicles carry substantially more than the prescribed insurance & are subject to regular inspections to ensure that they meet stringent safety requirements.
